This software, including its source code, artwork, item data, world data,
sound design and documentation (together, the "Software"), is the exclusive
property of the copyright holder. It is licensed, not sold.

1. GRANT
   No license is granted to any person to copy, modify, merge, publish,
   distribute, sublicense or sell copies of the Software, except under a
   separate written agreement signed by the copyright holder.

2. PLAYING THE GAME
   Playing the publicly hosted game through a standard web browser is
   permitted and is governed by the End User License Agreement in EULA.md.
   Playing the game does not transfer any ownership or source rights.

3. PROHIBITED USES
   You may not:
   a) copy, republish or redistribute the Software or any substantial part
      of it, in original or modified form;
   b) run a public or private server based on the Software;
   c) reverse engineer, decompile or deobfuscate the Software beyond what
      applicable mandatory law expressly allows;
   d) remove or alter any copyright, trademark or attribution notice;
   e) use the Software, its assets or its name to train, fine-tune or
      evaluate machine learning models intended to reproduce it.

4. CLIENT CODE
   Parts of the Software are necessarily delivered to a browser in order to
   run. Delivery to a browser is not publication and does not place any part
   of the Software in the public domain or under any open source license.

5. THIRD PARTY COMPONENTS
   The Software depends on separately licensed open source packages
   (including Express and Socket.IO). Those packages remain under their own
   licenses, which are unaffected by this LICENSE.

6. NO WARRANTY
   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
   IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
   IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COPYRIGHT HOLDER BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR
   OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE,
   ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR
   OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.

8. TERMINATION
   Any breach of this LICENSE terminates the permissions in section 2
   immediately and without notice.
